Fierce Healing Yoga is a fusion of Forrest Yoga (a form of Hatha developed by yogini Ana Forrest, to deepen spiritual awareness and both heal and avoid injury to the body in an active practice); Kundalini Yoga (as taught by the guru Yogi Bhajan); and Ayurveda, the science of life.
In private sessions, we will determine your dosha (body/mind type) and develop a practice uniquely suited to you. Public classes are designed to bring greater awareness and energy to body, mind and spirit.
To see yoga as a purely physical exercise to tone the body, is to blind oneself to the greatest part of the practice. All forms of yoga, including gym yoga, grows and stretches our subtle selves, if we allow it.
Instructor Isis Brenner-Ward has completed full teacher training with Forrest Yoga, International Kundalini Yoga Association, and Ayurvedic Practitioner Training with The Ayurvedic Institute of New York City.
Isis offers private classes and therapeutic Yoga and Ayurvedic instruction. She currently teaches at Redwood Health Club.
